Safe implantation, reversibility, high visual quality and long-term visual comfort: We are proud that the journal EuroTimes, published by the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS), has just published a special supplement entitled “Sulcus-based enhancement of visual quality”.
This special issue is dedicated to our 1stQ AddOn intraocular lenses and offers an in-depth look at the innovative and unique design features that reflect the special requirements of the specific implantation site, the ciliary sulcus.
The current issue highlights in particular the benefits for patients who have been fitted with a lens from the 1stQ AddOn family and presents outstanding clinical results. The chapters cover not only efficient refractive fine-tuning and special applications, but also the specific properties of the sulcus lens: safe implantation, reversibility, high visual quality and long-term visual comfort. A comparatively new application in the field of (atraumatic reversible) trifocal patient care with the AddOn, the Liberty2 dual lens system, will also be presented.
The 1stQ AddOn has successfully demonstrated that it is possible to offer pseudophakic patients full visual comfort with simultaneous safe implantation in the sulcus.
